Ingredients

  • Nine cups Chex cereal (any type will work)

  • One cup chocolate chips semi-sweet

  • One and half cup of powdered sugar

Method

  1. Put chips semi-sweet chocolate, peanut butter and butter in a microwave safe bowl.

  2. Put it in to the microwave oven uncovered then start the oven on high for 1 minute.

  3. Remove it and stir until everything is melted. If the turmoil does not melt everything then again put it in the microwave on high for 15-30 seconds. Make sure to stir until well blended and smooth. After it is well mixed, add vanilla.

  4. POUR Chex cereal in a large bowl. Use a large measuring container Pyrex measure if you have one. It is faster for chocolate, peanut butter, and butter mixture over the Chex cereal.

  5. Use a spatula or throw some gloves and mix until all the Chex are covered in the mixture. Toss like a salad to coat completely. Coat Chex with powdered sugar

  6. Pour the powdered sugar in a large Ziploc bag (2 gallon). Add Chex. Shake until all the Chex are coated.

  7. While Chex are all in the bag, clean the basin so that no residue of chocolate left inside. Dry the bowl. Add the mixture into the bag and place in bowl. If the Chex are not entirely coated with powdered sugar, add the powdered sugar in a bowl and cover with cling WRAP. Shake it well until all become coated.

  8. Place your Chex Muddy Buddies - Chex Puppy Chow in a bowl or plate and serve.
